In the early 1980s, dermatologic surgeons invented liposuction techniques and developed “tumescent liposuction” which changed surgical fat removal completely.

This process involves the use of diluted solutions of normal local anesthetic and the other some materials related to medications to fill out the fatty layer of the skin prior to removing those bulky, unwanted extra pounds.

This process causes the “tissue” to become soft, swollen and firm for allowing total control. So in this process local anesthesia is not required. It results to sculpting of bulging areas into more attractive looks.
